We've done a major overhaul of our platform over the past 6 months, with some exciting results! To make it easier for everyone to make sense of this and subsequent updates, we've decided to call the new platform release ‘Credenza'.
With Credenza's release on Monday 15th November 2010, you will be able customize, control and create more than ever before using the platform's greatly improved features. This will allow for far easier website integration using Credenza's API and Javascript commands -
- Re-size the player to integrate appropriately with your webpage
- The platform now allows you to display a Content Title Page – including a Thumbnail (256x256 pixels) and Description to enhance the viewer experience and make your content listing look even more professional.
For Live Streaming
- A Broadcaster can enable or disable the full screen and chat functionalities during the stream (not just at setup)
- Credenza offers more ways to communicate with viewers
- Commentary - send a message to all viewers from the Broadcast Interface. This message will automatically fade after 20 seconds.
- Viewer Chat - the Broadcaster can communicate with viewers via this feature.
- Alerts - Send an alert to viewers during a live stream that will ensure your message is reached, regardless of what's going on. This message needs to be closed by the viewer in order for it to disappear.
For live and on-demand content
- There are three Player Modes to choose from:
- Auto Start – the piece of content can start playing automatically on your website as soon as the link to it is selected.
- Click To Start – the piece of content will freeze on the first frame and require the viewer to press PLAY to start viewing.
- Title Screen – a title screen with description, price and preview image can be displayed.

All about the box
